Adam Kaupert tries Dr. Zhivago

One of the best places to get a good idea of what quality traditional Russian food is like I would recommend Dr.Zhivago. Not only is it situated in the heart of Moscow but if you’re lucky (or unlucky depending on your politics) you can get a seat with a view of the actual Kremlin. The décor in Dr. Zhivago is mind-blowing. It features Russian Artwork and some ornate and flashy decorating that is so beautiful you really have to experience it in person. The atmosphere coupled with the quality Russian cuisine make Dr.Zhivago a must visit if you are in Moscow and a shoe in for the Adam Kaupert best of Russia list. If you are a fan of vodka then this is the place for you. Dr. Zhivago boasts a wide array of some of the finest Russian Vodkas to go with some of the Russian delicacies they serve such as chicken pancakes or carp with a nice pudding sauce.

Adam Kaupert Visits the Tretyakov Gallery in Moscow

After I spent a long day sightseeing and eating I decided to check out the Tretyakov Gallery theTretyakov Gallery has some of the greatest pieces of Russian artwork ever created. The museum features a massive collection of work from over a thousand years ago to modern day. The collection is so big it is actually shown in two buildings, the old and the new. It would take a week to see the entire collection of works so make sure to plan ahead.
